Settling into our Apartment
The apartment we have is a family apartment so it's a bit bigger than I expected. When you first walk in there is an area so you can take off your shoes and switch into your indoor shoes.
On the right side there is a shoe closet to store your shoes. On the left side is the door to the bedroom. We have two twin XL beds that are pushed together.
Further down the hallway on the left is the toilet. The toilet has quite a few settings like water spray, air drying, butt massager (?) and seat warmer. There is also a faucet over it where you can wash your hands. Although there's not really a good spot to place the hand soap in there.
On the right side of the hall way is the shower/bath and washer. We don't have a dryer but the shower has a setting for drying your clothes when you can't hang them outside to dry. The washer is smaller than the ones back home so we'll probably have to do more smaller loads throughout the year.
Continuing down the hallway leads into the kitchen and living room. The previous resident left some furniture so we have a couch, TV, and coffee table. We don't get any channels on the TV, we may have to pay for access but we probably won't use it.
In the kitchen, we have a tall fridge, stove and a tiny oven. We've had to do quite a bit of cleaning in the apartment and as you can see we still have quite a few things lying around as we're settling in. It's slowly getting better and becoming more our apartment.

The apartment looks cool..I like the shoe cupboard...the shelf in the bathroom reminds me of the shelves in the bathroom on the cruise ship...fun seeing a lot of the apartment...the toilet looks like it is from star trek and I dont want to try working it...does it have a flight mode?...the washer is interesting, small..
ReplyDeleteFlight mode is us having it unplugged, but it'll be nice in the winter to have a warm seat, haha
