We're Back!!!

Surprise, we're back! We sold our car, packed all our stuff and for the last week and a half we have been settling back in Himeji, Japan. Blake and I are both ALTs working with the same program as last time, although we are assigned to different schools in the region. We thought it might feel weird being back but it's like we never left! We have been adjusting quite well with minimal jet lag (knock on wood).

Luckily, there were no delays with our flight and we were able to arrive on August 23rd with some time to prepare before our appointment ceremony on the 31st and our first day of on September 1st. We were even able to squeeze in a day trip to Kobe, which was about 1 hour away. We went back to Eggs 'n Things, a Hawaiian restaurant, and of course had to order their whipped cream with pancakes. 😆

It was a nice short day trip that also helped to get reacquainted with Japan's public transportation system. We are looking forward to our time back here and hopefully able to explore even more of the beautiful country.
